ASSIGNMENT CHECKLIST

400 & 500 LEVEL

A. INFORMATION ACQUISTION:

1.      Complete the pre-exam to assist in the determination of computer literacy standing so that the class may be customized to you. Not a test; it is just to know how to customize the class.

    1. Read (5) five articles concerning technology, communication and decision-making. Present five article critiques/(3-2-1) using article critique format given.
    2. Complete a “technology survey report” leading supporting a technology development plan.
    3. Read course materiel sent by instructor.
    4. Preview (2) web sites:  Fill out the web site evaluation form for (1) one and send to instructor.
    5. Participate in Discussion Question Forums.

500 LEVEL

B. LEARNING APPLICATION:

    1. Interview (2) two Information Technology personnel in your company or another who are at the senior level or who own their own technology related business.  Use the “Technology at Your Place of Work” form.

C. WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS:

    1. Write (5) five article critiques/(3-2-1)  and email them with articles used to professor.
    2. Write (1) one Research Paper 10 to 15 pages in length, with a minimum of 7 references.

D. ORAL PRESENTATIONS:

    1. Oral presentation is 10 minutes in length preferably covering the Research Paper.  Power Point presentations will be used along with talking notes.
